I have been discussing this, and I think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

As much as I've poured my heart and soul into this board, been a member for 10 years and a moderator for 8 years, sadly, it's come to the point where it feels like nobody else cares now. This is especially apparent over the past couple weeks, where I have been literally the only member posting at all... and as you know, one member can't sustain a board. I'm hoping otherwise as I'm sure nobody would want to let Kate down, especially as she's aware of this board's existence.. but ultimately, support from multiple members is needed to sustain a board, and it looks like we may not have that anymore.

This is sad to see. But if you feel it is in the best interest of the board to go now, out on your terms instead of being forced to close, I completely get it.

WOAH! That is super cool. Definitely a great accomplishment for the board and its members throughout the years.

I haven't posted here in a while, but completely understand the need to close. When you have no other posters, it gets to hard to sustain on your own. If you do close, thanks for all your work here as a mod for the past 8 years

Thanks everyone who made this board great over the past 12 years, as well as my past 10 years posting here and 8 years as a moderator. It's been a wild ride and we've seen lots of releases from Kate over this time, and we've made this board the best place to discuss Kate online.

I'll miss being part of such a community, but it's sad that the community has faded over the years.
