Yes, she has a few times. Fairly sure Seattle and Portland are regular stops on her tours.

Kate is absolutely incredible and so good looking too! I swear, if God created the perfect woman... then she is Kate.

My Facebook has just alerted me that it was 10 years ago this week when I made an adventure and got to see/meet Kate again. And in this honour... I've written an essay about what Kate's music means to me.
Um... where do I begin here? Prior to her, I mostly liked whatever songs I heard on the radio and wasn't really strongly attached to any artists in particular... didn't really have favourites overall. Not only this, but I also felt my life was lacking direction and I had no idea what to do with it. Suddenly though... there was this one song that really captivated me... it was "Only Fooling Myself" by Kate Voegele. I instantly loved it and knew that I had to know more about her. That voice was so irresistible and the feel just spoke to my music tastes. Sure enough, as I heard her song more and loved it more, I found out that her album had already been released.. so on my break between my two jobs at the time, I bought the CD (my morning job was near the mall containing this record store) and when I got home in the evening, Kate's was the first I listened to. I was blown away at the songwriting of this then-21-year-old singer-songwriter... every song on there had a story to tell, combined with the catchy melodies... it's as if Kate had to be my favourite singer. The more I heard from her - and indeed, she'd have more one-off single releases later in 2008 - the more I loved her. And when she announced a second album the following year, I was highly anticipating it. But Kate's music moved me so much that I knew that I had to see her in concert... and that I would do absolutely anything - no matter how far I'd have to travel - to see her. Sure enough, when she announced her tour dates - I made my plans, and also got involved in her fandom - something I had never done before. I knew I wanted to meet her as well, and was able to find out the best way to. Her album "A Fine Mess" definitely didn't disappoint - I'd say I enjoyed it even more than "Don't Look Away"! The show was seriously awesome - I couldn't believe I was in the presence of my favourite singer! And then I got to meet her after the show, which was, as I told her, a moment I will never forget. Then, once she had done the first show that I saw, she announced a few additional tour dates - and they were within driving distance of my home! I knew I had to see her again, and three weeks after my first Kate show was my second. I continued to follow her endeavours, and then when she announced more tour dates later in the year - I got to see her yet again - including a very special VIP-only event with an exclusive, acoustic performance and I got to meet her yet again. I truly feel that discovering Kate Voegele was when my music tastes really came of age, and the fact that I discovered her music without help from any others that have helped me discover music made me feel that she was someone I could truly call my own favourite - and indeed, when many people I know hear about Kate - they think of me. Not only this, but I've discovered many of my passions thanks to Kate. One of these is the world of live concerts - after enjoying seeing Kate so much, I've since seen many of my other favourite artists and enjoyed them very much, as well as to never take tomorrow for granted, because there may not be another chance to fulfill your dreams. Another is travel - seeing Kate perform in different cities has given me the passion to really explore other cities and do unique things in each one, and it's made me really enjoy the unlimited options available in large metro cities - even those within a weekend's drive, and also helped me enjoy events within my interests at home as well and look out for activities that might interest me - I tend to be a very activity-driven person. In a way, this has made me comfortable in my own skin, with who I am and she has helped me accept myself for who I am and really to get to know myself better. She has definitely helped give my life a purpose. I've continued to enjoy Kate's releases since - from "Gravity Happens" to "The Wild Card EP" to "Canyonlands" - and have gotten to see her twice in the mid-2010's as well. While I am still a very shy person, I felt comfortable with Kate when I met her again, and she was as always very appreciative of my support - it's as if I was reconnecting with an old friend after many years away. That's one thing I have always appreciated about Kate, and meeting her has definitely proven how awesome she is and always has been despite the pressures of fame. __________________
