Edward is telling him they're all here in danger because he fell in love with a human and Carlisle tells him he found his mate nothing wrong with that and he deserved to be happy. that they all had something worth fighting for and looks at Esme which is super sweet and Edward tells him that he never thanked him for this extraordinary life and Carlisle looks at him smiles and pats his back and squeezes his shoulder and keeps his hand there it's really a cute Father/Son moment. Bet we have more of those if SM would give us MS...

Aww sounds like such a sweet father and son moment, I love how Carlisle always sees the best in Edward.

And yeah well especially if we get an Edward backstory in his POV in MS with how Carlisle nurtured him as a vampire, damn that SM. Don't know what brainwashed her.

It was touching moment even if it was short. I nearly cried when Edward said to Carlisle:

"I never thanked you for this extraordinary life..." Close I think to the actual quote. Cait will correct me if I am wrong... But it was a beautiful moment between the two of them.

We all have said it time and time again but Edward's POV in MS is U N B E L I E V A B L E! You get far more depth and definitely more insight with the Cullens. I will always hold out small hope that she will publish the book at some point in time.

Carlisle did have a huge part in giving Edward an extraordinary second life I know Edward's late mother would have been really grateful to Carlisle for giving Edward a second chance to live.

And I don't know, I kind of lost hope with the whole SM releasing MS thing already, I mean that woman has clearly lost her inspiration to finish that book when she even told Rob to write that book instead. And to think that Edward is one of the main characters who she dreamt of that lead her to write twilight in the first place, you would think she wouldn't have given up like that but whatever I guess, people change sadly.
