I think what's great about that is how happy he was with Emily, even than.

She's always made him the most happy even when he just viewed her as a friend.

I guess some of the best relationships are the unexpected ones, or the ones that happen after a strong friendship.

Sad, that we probably most likely won't see much of those kind of couples these days since everything needs to happen in a rush.

Like the true beauty of Nem was that it took seven years of a friendship for something to truly change.

and then thanks to a great storyline and TC and Natalia awesome chemistry, things got so much better.

If it hadn't been Natalia/Tyler I don't think it would have been as good as it was.

Hate the pirate hair I think it's the eyeliner I find hot.

I guess TC just knows how to rock eyeliner.

I'll say I doubt they would have ever happened.

Even though Amber definitely would've been older in 2003 so who knows probably the romantic chemistry would've been there when she got older? She would've been 20 at the time. I just feel it would've stayed strictly platonic.

Natalia and TC are just the perfect NEM.

Agree, TC just rocked the eyeliner, even with that bad hair.

This was from 2013, and I feel like we can see this exact scene right now because of what's going on with Nikolas.

I can't dislike the storyline because it gave me my #1 ship in all of SOAPS, however I can criticize a lot of things about it.

First, I felt Emily handled everything horribly. She should've just been honest upfront and saved a lot of heartache... however, if she never handle things badly, than Nikolas doesn't help her overcome it which makes them remains friends in not fall in love....

I don't care for Zander either he's kinda pathetic because he knew the feelings between NEM yet still played along with Emily's denials so really he caused his own heartbreak. Though I cant take his love for her seriously when he was sleeping with Gia almost immediately after splitting with Emily after Nik's feelings came out.

I always saw that as Zander heartbreak so I didn't judge him much for that.
I just think Emily handled things pretty badly to be quite honest.

Characters need to learn that sometimes keeping things a secret never work for the best. lol for my NEM shipper heart it does. lol

So I guess a key that should be learned is, if you have feelings, confront them not resist them.

The love from them only grew though because of all the denying.

It did and lead to the great moment on Halloween of Emily finally choosing to accept her feelings and be with Nik.
