That's my issue, it's just unprofessional of Sally to just end it because she doesn't like it EVEN if she admitted she didn't even watch it??? Y&R really wrote itself into a corner by going there with Phyllis/Billy because once it amassed the fanbase that it did there was no going back to the same old relationships. I hate what was done to Tricky (mainly Travis) but if he'd been sacrificed to engineer a Philly vs Villy triangle than I would have understood because all great SOAPs are built on triangles but nope they just want the same old stuff.

I think that the issue was that they probably never expected JT and GT to have so much chemistry? :lmao: So, that just made matters worst... on Y&R, this Billy has more chemistry with Phyllis than Victoria.:shrug:
The previous Billy really didn't have much chemistry with anyone. lol Although that was actually the beginning of the Billy/Phyllis build up and I wanted to see if I'd like the chemistry. lol
For David Tom, it probably was with Mac.
For AM it definitely was Billy Miller... who AM said will always be here Billy Abbott.:eek: So, the writers should move on.:P

If they never expected JT/GT to have chemistry then they've only got themselves to blame because they finally had a actor who fit the role for the first time since BM. So of course it was possible there'd be chemistry to work with.

I wasn't aware she'd said that but I'm with AM on that BM will always be who I see as the real Billy especially for Victoria. Agreed! They need to move on from Villy and that's coming from myself whose not particulary a fan of Villy or Philly. I'm nuetral about each pairing.

Villy may have the long history but it doesn't change the last year of stories where they BOTH fell in love with other people that they were very much serious about to the point of wanting a future that could've (or in Tricky's case would have) included marriage. OMG Jack said that?! When?

Yup, AM said it in 2014... so she probably feels different now but I'm sure a lot of fans feel the same way....

That was 2 years ago, so probably things changed but the Billy/Victoria relationship was best with BM and AM, and the showrunners can't try to force a change that's just not there....

It sure doesn't and the writers can't just pretend it didn't happen, which is what they are doing.
Also, what I liked about the storyline BEFORE Sally returned is that Billy said he cheated on Victoria as well, and how he wanted Victoria/Travis to work... it seems like Sally also wants people to forget that Billy also cheated and that Victoria wanted to be single...

Congrats to Gina getting a pre-nom to her amazing work last year. She must be a top contender for the win. Just to think at the last Emmy's GT/JT appeared together on the stage before Philly kicked off. :look:

Yup! I'd love for both of them to win it! All Jason best acted scenes last year were definitely any with Phyllis. For Gina, the courtroom scene for sure.:thud:

I give the credit for the fans for speaking out on social media and through the magazine's each week and Mal Young who noticed from the beginning how great their scenes were together.:nod: Well... as far as them being actor partners.:)


However, I gotta see how the scene happened because it's going to be a tough time selling Victoria/Billy if they have Billy kissing Phyllis.:rotfl: As I said, and I'm sticking by, this is the first time Victoria will be the rebound for Billy if they get together.:look: I'll debate anyone on it. lol
