Well at least now I don't have to keep up with this stupid show that was starting to ruin Chabby for me anyway.

Kate Mansi confirms she's leaving Days of Our Lives

The popular actress who plays Abigail Deveraux announced via Instagram on Wednesday that she will depart the NBC sudser. She joined the drama -- her first major role in TV -- in 2011.

"I've kept quiet as long as I could," wrote the 28-year-old actress. "After much thought, I've decided the timing was right for me to set sail from Salem. I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every single beautiful and messy moment of being Abigail, and will always treasure our time together."

I knew it yesterday.

My brother saw it on Facebook and thought I would get upset but there had already been rumors in Nov. and I'm not feeling Chabby like I used to. I feel like the brainwashing thing is just a taste of the stupid writing to come for this couple that had such potential.

It's a shame for all the fans that are still loving Chabby though.

I hope they will at least get married.

Sucks that it's now confirmed Kate has leaving but at least I now know to enjoy every moment of what's left of this chemistry perfection that is Kate & Billy as Chabby.

Nothing else has been announced yet. I've been hearing rumours/speculation that Kate Mansi could be going to The Bold & the Beautiful as a possible recast of Hope Logan.

Kate is doing a movie next.

Mansi's next big career move includes the actress working with Riley Egan in an upcoming film called" Muse." The thriller, which was directed and written by John Burr, is about a struggling painter’s life that is changed when he meets a beautiful Irish muse, Leannán Sí, he then kills anyone, who threatens her.
