You found a goldmine! There's a bunch I don't think I've seen before. Any idea when that last interview was from? He mentions naked Gillian... er, Gillian in her lingerie in the hunting lodge but also Ryan's loft.

I just checked, and Yes, you're right, he picks her up then too. I just had downloaded that clip too to make one of the Christmas gifs but didn't rewatch the whole video.

BTW, I've been skimming through some of the recent R&G uploads, and that scene where Ryan moves out of Myrtle's is so sad. She starts breaking down crying when she accidently looks sees her wedding ring on her finger as she helps him pack.

Whoa, what a way to start the New Year. I've never seen half those pictures. Like the one where Cameron is in a tux and Esta is holding a rose, and he's escorting her somewhere. Where is he escorting her? I need details lol. I'm happy to have them at all, but I do wish they were a little bigger.

Love all the Crystal Ball gifs, and I agree, Gillian always had the best dresses. I know they stopped the Crystal Ball when Maria came back from the dead, but I always thought they should have continued it in Gillian's honor. But that would have required both the audience and Ryan to remember Gillian existed and the writers/producers didn't want that

I forgot how great Gillian's fashion was. Give me those dresses! lol. I agree The Crystal Ball should of been in Gillian's honor after Maria came back. Like you said though, Gillian's existence had to be wiped from Ryan and everyone's memories RME.

I haven't watched that one yet but going through all their scenes again I'm realizing/remembering Cam and Esta were really damn good at the angst. There was a bit more of it than I would have liked but they brought it hard in those scenes.

It bugs me so much that so many pics of these 2 are potato quality. The late 90s/early 00s wasn't that long ago. I was wondering about those specific pics myself. They made me think of The Bachelor.

Continuing the Crystal Ball in honour of Gillian would have been a great idea! But they probably couldn't have gotten away with half the nonsense they had Ryan pull after Gillian if they had everyone remembering her.

Yeah, those wayback archive sites are cool in accessing sites that no longer exist, but on the down side every image and sub page wasn't saved. You can't click the pictures for larger versions cause the archive didn't save those

BTW, someone posted the 2000 Crystal Ball on instagram awhile back, and I think that is what CM requoted in his insta story, where Ryan had a flashback to asking Gillian to marry him the first time.

That's also an interesting point about Maria. Maria died in the plane crash and was presumed dead off screen and Edmund was allowed to mourn her and remember every year at the Crystal Ball... why couldn't they also do that for Gillian?

I think it's because they hoped Eva LaRue would come back one day. It's why they had Maria's body never found and Edmund always remembered her. For some reason, they never wanted Gillian back, which is why they killed her off in such a permanent way and had Ryan forget that she existed. But, as I always say, it backfired on them. Viewers never forgot Gillian, and all of Ryan's other pairings were bombs. We're still here talking about them and her over twenty years later.

I agree, they wanted Maria to come back and everyone thought she would eventually come back one day (Too bad they ruined her return as usual) but with Gillian they killed her off in such a FU way like the actress ran over their dog or something. It still makes me sick how they did Gillian that way, then erased her from Ryan's memory. When they pull that bs, the fans never forget so they failed there.

I guess it was easy to assume they could get Eva back since she was married to John Callahan at the time but they never even gave Gillian/Esta the opportunity with how they wrote her off. Although hearing what they eventually did to Edmund and Edmund/Maria maybe there was a tiniest little bit of luck there.

The Crystal Ball was always a big event for Ryan/Gillian even when they weren't together. The 2000 ball was essentially the catalyst for Ryan realizing he wanted Gillian back. Although it would have been nice if she didn't need to get engaged to someone else for it to happen lol. Would have been good to see that continue.

I was watching the 2000 Crystal Ball clip and I don't even get why Greenlee is so gung ho over Ryan. I mean, every time Gillian entered the room it was like he forgot Greenlee was even there, even when they were half dressed in the mausoleum. I loved when Ryan flashbacked to their first wedding. Gillian also seemed half interested in Jake at best, though part of that was also Colby. I can't remember who said it here but that's an astute observation how she wanted to help Colby like she helped Maddie, maybe she was still somewhat that lost girl who's dad abandoned her and wanted to help other little girls not have the same existence.

Heck the only reason he was in the mausoleum with Greenlee in the first place was because he saw Gillian and Jake getting engaged right before. He consistently kept blowing her off before that. That relationship has never and will never make any sense.

I do think Gillian loved Jake and he was really sweet to her when she and Ryan were separating but it did have a really strong friendship feel to it. That was me who made the connection between Gillian's background and her helping these kids. I don't think it was ever explicitly stated but I do think it guided a lot of her decisions. It's harder to explain why she stayed with him so long after Chechnya. All I got is that she's always been extremely devoted to the people she cares about.

The hand kiss and Gillian using Ryan's arm as a pillow. Of course love scenes are great but I love a good post-coital scene just as much sometimes.

It does look like you can send in questions, but you have to subscribe to his channel to do so.

Since this is live, and they'll be taking questions, we should all try to watch it live. I'll feel so bad for Esta if there aren't a lot of people watching or if no one asks a question. Let's show up for our princess!
