Philip/Chloe #5: Because they have eyes on each other
Welcome to the 5th Philip Kiriakis and Chloe Lane Appreciation Thread  made by Abby  made by Abby  made by Melinda Their Story Philip was once considered the King of Salem High and Chloe the outcast...Ghoul Girl. Until one bet brought these two together and led to them falling in love. However through misunderstandings they were seperated and drove the beautiful Chloe into another mans arms which she eventually married. Philip was hurt and depressed until he focused his affections on one Belle Black. Now Chloe is RETURNING with her faithful husband no where to be seen. Will Philip and Chloe finally get their shot at love? Summarize in your own way why you love Philip and Chloe I really like Phloe because they are both flawed characters. Neither was ever written as if they were perfect. Additionally, I like that they both accepted each other and did not try to change each other into what they thought they wanted. Finally, their relationship is raw and challenging, which I find intriguing. A lot of people would say that they had a destructive relationship, and at time sthey did, but that made them more real and interesting to watch. At least they are not committing adultery. Quite simply, I like watching them because they are well suited and have an interesting dynamic. I really could see them as a supercouple with an edge. Answer byRonika Two words... Nadia and Jay. You can see/feel their chem from a mile away, so it's really not hard at all to love them together. From the start both characters were so intriguing and once I saw how powerful of a pair they were, that was it. I'm just excited Phloe fans get a second chance for them to have their story told right! It's been a long time coming! Answer by Lexi I love this couple because no matter how dysfunctional their relationship has been, they always find their way back to each other. It's not just a high school thing. It's there - forever. They are not only each other's first love but their true love. They get each other and just fit perfectly. No matter how long it takes for them to realize what's "right before their eyes", they still do very much love each other. Besides, the dysfunctional relationships are the ones I'm most drawn to because they are way more realistic than a couple that works all the time. Hi guys! Totally agree with you re. Friday, that was really fun. Poor Chloe! she's in such a pickle now, I'm kind of hoping she gets framed for Brady's murder and Philip comes to the rescue. Love the flirting!

You never know how much you rely on something until it's gone. However, my old DVR is officially irreparable now. I took it apart this weekend to see how everything works and for the spare parts. Re. the DVR - you mean you have other things to do with your life? Hee!
I still like the idea of Chloe banged up in a Salem PD cell for afew days as comeuppance for her 'sins'. She might feel some remorse too. And when Philip comes to rescue her she'll begin to TRULY appreciate him. He really is the only friend she has now (with Shawn leaving soon). I think it would be good for Chloe to be taken down a peg or two. It'll probably never happen, though. I love her but sometimes she aggravates me too. Don't get me started on those spoilers. If I could do the spoiler tags there would be a rant in store... |

Before it was okay for her to be a brat because she was adjusting to normal life after a very rough childhood. However, DAYS made it seem like she got over that a while ago. So, what is wrong with her now? She sure comes across with an attituded of entitlement that I am often confounded by. In addition, I would love them to give her some sort of purpose in Salem...like a job! Just something to keep her occupied besides worrying about Brady and begging Philip to help her find him. __________________
