Completely agree. But Caroline/Ridge fans should be happy that Ridge really remained loyal to Caroline and really went all out to spend the rest of his life with her and AFTER he's just reverted to his old ways.

Caroline was OOC during the break up though because her wanting to be with Thomas should've gotten builded more and even that led to nothing...

Yes he was surprisingly loyal to Caroline. Though I'll always find the relationship creepy given her namesake and how they started up.

The reunion with Thomas was a pointless waste of time she should've left for NYC single.
The relationship with Thomas should've stayed as co-parents.

The reasoning behind writing Caroline out is so ridiculous they might as well have never done the baby storyline because she's now essentially a solo parent as I doubt we'll ever see Thomas with his son again since that would apparently get in the way of his romantic endeavours.

I miss the Caroline/Wyatt scenes we use to randomly get.

I just saw that Brad Bell interview in SOD. His excuse for getting rid of Caroline was pathetic and complete bull.

I really liked Caridge, but if he wanted to put her with Thomas, he picked entirely the wrong way. Once he had the groggy sex night, a lot of fans couldn't get on board with Carmas, even the dude from TVGuide called him out for trying to gloss over the sex scene as written. So, instead of trying something different, he just wrote Caroline out! Like Linsey lost her job because he doesn't know how to write if he can't fit the person into the plot. He's all about plot, not character. He had no idea how to redeem Thomas, so he just got rid of Caroline, when he could have just reunited her and Ridge. What an idiot.

Completely agree with you and Caroline wasn't one of my favorite but this whole thing is just straight up disgraceful. You don't need to be a huge fan to see that.

I feel for Linsey to lose her job because Bell wrote a horrible storyline from the beginning.

Thomas/Caroline got ruined the day when Thomas sort of looked like a predator.... And than the writers brushed it off and had Caroline have feelings over Thomas OVER Ridge??? Which made no sense and I'm not the biggest Ridge fan but it was done so poorly.

Agreed! Once it was written that way it was impossible to look at Carmas the same way.
I know it changed how I saw them and the way they flip flopped changing the naarrative of the story it made it even worse.

I heard that it was said in the article that we would see Caroline again. But all i could think is it's the same line they used about AB/Ivy for the longest time as they kept her offscreen for months. Linsey would be better off pursuing other jobs where she can show-off her talent as an actress since B&B refuse to.

Yup. ANd the sad thing is that I loved Caroline/Thomas chemistry probably more than I've enjoyed the Thomas/Sally or Thomas/Sasha chemistry. But it was so difficult to root for them with the poor writing they received.

It seems we were suppose to root for them, and than they slept together and it seemed we were definitely NOT suppose to root for them and than months later we were suppose to root for them again. It was just confusing. lol

Bell never outright says someone is off the show like the other soaps. He'll use them occasionally if the actor is available, but imo usually the actor is as good as gone, especially if they get another job.

He's only using Ashleigh right now because he needed her for Australia. Maybe he'll keep her now for Wyatt, but who knows. If you don't fit the plot he has in mind your gonna be out.

As much as I lost all feeling for Carmas that I'd had I'm still bitter that we didn't get the Caroline/Thomas/Sasha love triangle that was right there for the taking. It had so much potential. Thomas/Sally is cute but not worth pushing Caroline/Linsey and imo Sasha/Felicia out the door.

Agreed. It basically shows that these writers and especially Bell needs to start writing ideas in a long term before they put in a storyline since it seems with this whole Caroline storyline, they never had a clear direction and because of that, we are here now....

It wasn't neccessary to remove Caroline from the show just to re-write Thomas into a relationship with Sally. That really screwed over Caroline's place in the show. She went from two men after her wanting to be the father of her child to disappearing like a puff of smoke.
