Exactly since Jason's death she's been Danny's sole parent so that's been her mind-set for 2 years. So it will be a big adjustment sharing that responsibility with Jason but I have no doubt that they'll figure it out.

I love how Sam immediately has complete faith in Jason's innocence when she arrived on the scene of the Nik incident.

Sam knows Jason, she knows he's not capable of this. Well he's capable, but she knows that he wouldn't attack Nik like this. Especially after he promised her that he wouldn't go that route. And Jason only tried to kill Nik because Nik was hurting Sam, Jason isn't a killer. He has a brain and a moral compass, he hates Nik true, but Nik is still a human being and Jason wouldn't cross that line.

Sam is so much more loving than someone like Nik deserves because her reaction over something having happened to Nik showed that she still cares about the jerk even after the selfish crap he's pulled on her.

Yes she really does and clearly family means everything to her. Nik is lucky to have ever had someone as loyal as Sam give a damn about his selfish, narcissistic butt.

Great how Sam took charge of the investigation and she laid things out so well. Which helps them get even closer to finding out about Nik.

Nik really was foolish to try to stage this with Sam on his trail. He knows how good she is, it's only a matter of time before she figures it out.

I think Sam is going to be even more angry when she finds out Nik faked his death. Not just because he was trying to frame Hayden and accidentally framed Jason. But because Nik in his selfishness and evil bitterness. Choose to ruin more lives and cause a lot of pain to the people who love him by faking his own death. Nik is playing God again with people lives and I don't think he truly cares. He's gotten away with so much before, whose to say this would be any different.

As a mother I am sure that Sam will be disgusted at Nik for putting little Spencer through this horrendously selfish nightmare.
