Hi, does anybody else watch Hollyoaks? I think its been great lately with the Bullying storyline with Justin/Ali/Macki and Tom going missing earlier this year, and Danni's date rape etc

I love the fact that Hollyoaks tackles issues where other soaps dont, and also they combine drama/comedy together.

oh my god thank you! I am like a huge hollyaoks fan, it is so good!

And your completly right thats what i love about it too and thats what annoys me when people say corrie finally a soap that can have dramatic storylines and add humour into an episode to take away the intensity. Hollyaoks has been doing it for years and i hate how they dont get the credit for their amazing storylines. Lukes rape was so incredible and i thought they were robbed of so many awards for that and the potholing accident. So drmaatic and well acted.

Cant wait for some spoilers, i hope we can get some icons too, i would love some mandy luke. And jsutin right now such an amazing storyline, fridays episode my heart went out to him.

Your right about getting robbed for the Luke/Male rape storyline in the british soap awards, i think Hollyoaks gets neglected so many times.

I was angry that Chesney got best dramatic actor at british soap awards Chris Fountain aka Justin should have won it.

I am a Chris/Justin fan, i love him, what a brilliant actor and gorgeous.
I love the Justin/Becca pairing, something needs to happen between them.

yeah i know completly! I mean chesney yeah hes cute and the year before he really did deserve it but i thought little Tom did such an incredible job acting out after his paretns death and when he ran away and everyone was on the hunt for him. He deserved credit for that yet he had none. And justin the macki storyline, very realistic to school life whilst others soaps just dont portray it in the right light hollyoaks did and justin/chris played it so well. its such a shame it gets screwed over and people dont take it so seriously just becuase its aimed at teenagers.

I lived in London from November 2004 - March 2005 and I was HOOKED on Hollyoaks! I so wish we got it here in Australia.

Hi Ya,

I started watching Hollyoaks when Family Affairs got axed, which was like yonks ago lol!

I think the soap is great, who thinks with the Amy & Josh thing that they will be honest with each other like about baby Leah that Leah is Amys baby & if Josh will tell the truth about hitting Amys Dad with the brick after their scuffle? More to the point if/when the truth does come out on both sides will they still want to be with each other? The mind boggles lol!

Omg I just found this thread by mistake. I love this show. People talk about how great all the other English soaps are but I think this is the best.

Really great at the moment. I waiting for something to happen between Mitzeee and Riley. Having been waiting for months for them to go there.

I've recently got back into Hollyoaks after about a year and a half of not watching.

Annalise is a great character, I'm looking forward to seeing more of her and I've been enjoying Ash's storyline, she's an interesting character and a good actress so it's been good seeing more of her
