In the episodes it didn't come across hypocritical at all................ because it wasn't written that way.
And trust me, I'm the first to dislike hypocrosy. lol

The scenes was written to make Steffy KNOW she should've stand her ground and believed that Quinn was no good but have sympathy for Quinn...
And she was upset with Ridge because his supposedly hate for Quinn only to assist in ruining Quinn and Eric's marriage.

Steffy even told Eric that Quinn still loved him and she was surprised to be saying that. lol

Steffy wasn't screaming and acting foolish. She seemed like a person who was hurt because of her grandfather being hurt.
And she didn't bash out Quinn to Eric, she actually just expressed to Eric how much Quinn loves him...

And I feel with Liam/Steffy/Wyatt it was completely different because Quinn sort of orchestrated that Wyatt/Steffy romance and instead of Wyatt being a friend, he was listening to Mommy's orders to pressure Steffy in a marriage when all she clearly cared about was Liam at the time.
She was clearly not in her right mind to be in any other relationship. Which is why I wish she never accepted his proposal of course but it doesn't erase the reason it got to that point.
It was never a serious triangle.......

With Quinn/Ridge it's by far worst because Ridge was the main one trying to sabotage the relation with Quinn/Eric and Eric was the only one defending her to everything.... and he sure sabotaged it alright.
This one makes Eric looks like an idiot.

Whereas with Wyatt, he never really should've pressured a person recovering from his brother rejection... like literally all their conversations in the first month was about finding Liam, and Quinn was keeping him hostage so yes both kissing cheating but both storylines are total opposite for me....
