I thought Jennifer and Adrienne have had the paper for a while--or at least I thought I'd read about it in the past. But you could tell there was a lot of exposition today trying to inform people who might not know who Jack is about his relationships and also trying to catch up those tuning in for him as to what's happening.

But he didn't show today. Boo.

And yeah the big cliffhanger was Eve showing up at the party, and taking off her hood.

The doctor who asked out Jennifer is a guy she dated earlier this year when she was on the outs with Eric. They went on a handful of dates before she dumped him to get back with Eric.

Jennifer and Adrienne bought the Spectator in late 2016, I think. There was a storyline last year where Anjelica tried to steal it from them. It's only mentioned that they work there/own it every now and then, and there's no actual set for the office.

Thank you. Anjelica is back? Didn't she die in a plane crash? Which actress is playing her now?

She came back briefly played by Morgan Fairchild, it was very random. She had only faked her death in the plane crash, but was really on the run. But she’s dead now, she had a heart attack to end out the Morgan Fairchild arc.

Even though Jack did not remember Jennifer, the chemistry that Melissa and Matt still have is incredible.

I felt their scenes especially when Jen told Jack how he took a chance on a young intern and made her an reporter... I loved that mention since I recently re-watched scenes from that! So I remembered it.

Also I loved when Jack brought up the Daniel thing.

Because I actually got to relive that when the reruns of that arc was showing up and Jennifer and especially Abby treated Jack like trash.

So, I do sort of love that it was mentioned!

But their connection already is something that I felt and I can't wait for more.
Also, just so happy I am finally able to see them live.

I like that he can't remember anything. I hope this means we can revisit an earlier dynamic with them. I can't wait until he remembers who he is...and that he ended up with the town virgin.

^ Same here! I think it's so much better this way and this way we will have Jennifer fighting for him and trying to remind Jack of how powerful their love was.

I agree it was a good place to start from to bring him back with amnesia. I liked how they let Jack call out Jennifer on that ridiculous Daniel story from their last run too, plus her blaming him for being gone when he had been kidnapped. I don't get why Jennifer didn't bring up her and Jack were engaged when he 'died' everytime Eve kept referring to Jack as Jennifer's ex-husband.

I don't completely buy that Jack would be that trusting of Eve though after only a few weeks. I think Jack is cynical by nature and would have trouble trusting anyone in a vunerable state like that.

BTW I read on twitter New Years Eve was the day Emilio, Colin and Daniel all died, so it's fitting that Jack would return on this day too.

I also kept waiting for Jennifer to try and tell him that even though they were divorced when he died, they were together as a couple and were planning to remarry.

Jack assuming that Jennifer's date was Daniel was funny. Also funny that Jennifer said "I'm not dating" to Jack even though she was literally there on a date with a guy.

Her speech about how they fell in love was beautiful. Just a great episode all around.
