I prefer puppies because they are easy to carry and cuddle.
But big dogs are good for cuddling as well but they can be scary as well. __________________

Depends on the breed.
Collies can get big but they wouldn't hurt a fly, same with St. Benards (never mind what the movie Cujo says. )__________________
