You're welcome, Mark! :)

That's Crystal's OP from the previous thread.

Ropetuned 10-03-2017 06:15 PM

Oh, right. It looked like it had been updated

PhoenixRising 10-04-2017 07:07 PM

I just added the monthly post counts over the last few months, that's all.

Ropetuned 10-04-2017 07:29 PM

Oh gotcha. Thanks :)

Is it true that we don't have to take counts in Nov and Dec?

We still have to take counts, Mark. But FF doesn't penalize any board that doesn't make the required weekly minimum and ends up on the Low Post Count Warning list during November and December because they understand that the holiday season often makes it difficult for boards to maintain their post counts since people are off visiting relatives and doing all sorts of other things during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve.

Ah, okay:) makes a lot of sense really

Yes it does. It's nice of them to give everyone a break during those two months. That way no one's under threat of having their board closed due to low post counts during the holidays in November and December. But we still have to take our post counts during those months as usual, otherwise how are we supposed to keep track of where we are when January begins?

This is very true.
Still, It's always good to keep track doing weekly counts if possible

Hi, Vicki! Yep, that's why I keep track of the weekly counts no matter what.

Ropetuned 10-06-2017 12:21 PM

Sounds good :) I'll probably be home most of the time anyways

BlackSapphire 10-06-2017 12:24 PM

I think boards do struggle more a little through the summer and Christmas but as long as you have your 15 posts a day you'll do just fine. Plus now work has slowed down to a reasonable level I'll be posting more being at home this Christmas :D

Ropetuned 10-06-2017 05:09 PM

I agree :) seems like past shows get even lslower, too. Most of the boards I visit regularly ended awhile ago and there isn't a lot of activity.

It's nice to have you around:)
