yea, I do agree with you about Ginny and HG, she just kinda became perfect out of nowhere in the 6th book, Harry barely noticed her before and then all of the sudden, he wanted her. it was so sudden. her character definitely could have been developed better too.

yea, she did. I understand what you're saying and I do love Harry/Hermione as friends and get why people ship them, I just don't feel it for me.

I think my biggest thing with HG and HHr is that I always felt that Harry loved Ron more. while of course the three of them are all best friends, I think Harry preferred spending his time with Ron and always missed him the most.

don't worry, I won't get mad at you and I think we're pretty even on not liking at least one of the others ships so we're good.

Hi, Katie! Thanks for admitting that about LA drivers.

Yes, the whole Ginny Weasly thing reminded me of a critique the villain in an old movie called Murder By Death gives all the detectives at the end of the movie, when he starts pointing out all the flaws in their various detective novels and tells one of them, "you introduced characters in the last five pages that were never in the book before!" It's typical of both "Deus ex Machina" and "Mary Sue" storytelling, which I really don't like.

And I get what you mean about Harry and Ron being friends and all that, and it's okay if Harry/Hermione don't click with you. I'm just saying from a narrative perspective it just seems... mediocre, that's all. Rowling was great with the magic and the plotting and all the other stuff, but she wasn't that good with the relationships. I guess it came from her being a single mom and perhaps it affected her perspective. Writers do often base their character relationships on what they know and things they feel personally.

Hi, Dave! Uhhh, Pennsylvania doesn't just have hills, we have mountains. The Appalachians, remember? And the Pocono Mountains(which are part of the Appalachians) are just north of Philadelphia and Bucks County. Yes, drivers here tend to be a lot better, I've noticed. I've never been to Kentucky, but I think the Appalachians run through there as well, only on the edge of the state.

I think I heard that Eliza was pregnant on the news last week. And of course I have a laptop. What do you think I'm posting with? But I don't like watching movies or TV on a laptop because... well, of the reasons regarding updates, virus scans, and all the other bull that laptops put you through. The only thing I watch on my laptop is YouTube. Yes, I have a Smart TV, but I just watch regular cable TV with it. Comcast with Xfinity On Demand.

I don't really need or want that Netflix stuff. It sounds fascist to me with companies taking control over shows and movies instead of them being free to anyone. It's just like how so many people are going back to vinyl records and the record industry is suddenly struggling to print more to keep up with the demand because the vinyl comeback was so unexpected. I think people would miss normal TV if everything went streaming.

I'm sorry to hear that about your roommate interview. Do you and your boyfriend need a new roommate soon, or can you afford to wait until you find one that's good? And I hope you hear back from that job soon!

My bf and I like Netflix because it's more free than Satellite. He doesn't like to pay for a service that provides commercials. He also has aa VUDU account. I am thinking about signing up for Hulu when I get income.

I have an HP laptop. I forgot what kind it is. And I get why some people like Netflix and Hulu, but I still don't like being so tied to the internet. I guess too much internet feels like a loss of freedom, which is why I prefer cable TV.

The transaction was completed so I reported the unauthorized transaction to the bank via their phone number... still really wet and cold outside to go to bank branch. If I get the paperwork on Friday...then I may go to bank on Saturday
