Him
Theodore Evelyn Mosby is portrayed by Josh Radnor. In 2030, Ted sat down to tell
his kids the story of how he met their mother. Beginning in 2005, Ted's meandering
journey has taken him through many failed relationships, including being left at the
altar. But the architect-turned-professor isn't giving up on his search for the perfect woman.

Her
Robin Charles Scherbatsky, Jr. is portrayed by Cobie Smulders. She is a
Scotch-drinking, cigar-smoking, gun-toting Canadian pop-star-turned-journalist-turned-
morning-show-host. Robin befriended the gang in 2005 after an awkward date with Ted
Mosby. She is the fiercely independent woman of the group who also has a hidden soft side.

I know! It took her years, but she realized Ted was the one and exactly like Ted did before, put her feelings aside and let the man she loved be happy. So many parallels for the both of them

Thanks for posting those deleted scenes!

Ted and Robin's scene was the longest and the best. The ending should make a lot more sense to people now.

The scene with TR shouldn't have been deleted.

They messed up with that IMO.

It was obvious a really important moment for them.

We really got to see how Robin truly felt and that Ted was happy with Tracy.

I can't fathom why they cut this one scene.

I know. Both Josh and Cobie said that this deleted scene was really important to Ted and Robin's story arc and set up their eventual reunion at the end.

I really wish they'd kept it in, especially since so many stills of that scene were leaked prior to the finale airing.

And that major problems scene

I just wish they didn't make Marshall look so old lmao. In the finale, Ted and Robin do not look 70.. Wtf? Haha. Poor Marshall didn't age well.

I think the purpose was to maybe make him look like his dad but even Lily didn't look that old. I love that she finally paid up too. We always knew she would!
