I thought Ted was pretty justified in getting angry with Barney. I'm sure you guys caught the bit at the end when he was talking about Robin's towels and the goat... and then he said that he had made a mistake and that was his next birthday.

Just when I thought I had some things figured out.. :lol:

One of my fave things about the episode was Barney's poster in his office that said "Awesomness" :lmao:

Barney has like every motivational poster I've ever seen as a collage. :lmao:

And his new shredder! :rotfl:

I definitely understood where Ted was coming from too.

I wish we had gotten more Barney/Robin, but I understand why this episode had to deal with Ted's reaction and the fallout.

And yeah, Robin living with Ted on his 31 birthday was another twist. I really don't think they get back together though.

Ted did break the Bro code... just like Pacey did on Dawson's Creek. :no: But, we all saw how that turned out... so the odds are in Barney's favor. :idea:

I think you're right Mel. I don't think they will ever revisit Ted/Robin. They gave us that and showed why they didn't work. We know she is "Aunt Robin" so if she moves in with him I think it's going to be for a different reason than anything romantic.

I wanted to see more Barney/Robin but showing Ted's reaction was completely necessary. Though I wish he'd share his anger to include Robin and not just Barney. That ending limo scene broke my heart.

i think it's realistic for him to be angrier with barney than he is with robin.
Barney is his bro and Barney is the one who came up with the whole bro code.
its hard to really explain, but it just really makes sense to me.


as for the whole situation.. although i did see the whole robin/barney thing coming, i shrugged it off because i was sort of in denial. I really love Robin and Ted and i was so sad, even way back in the very first episode, when he said "and this is how i met your aunt robin." ahhhhhh
oh well... i just really love ted and i want him to be with someone that i am actually attached to... and robin is that person!

anyways, this is a comedy and i will adapt to anything, but i am way more of a ted/robin shipper because i just love their differences.

I guess since we knew from the beginning that Robin wasn't the mother I never got attached to Ted/Robin. I've never shipped them. I was ok with their relationship, but I like them better as friends.

that's the smartest thing ever and that was exactly what i intended to do... BUT there was no one else and their kiss was so great and well... they got me.

I understood Ted being angry with Barney but I think he shouldn't just take it out on him as Robin was a willing participate in it too :lol:.

The shredder Barney had in his office was so funny, especially when he threw the mobile phone in it and all the posters were amazing, we've seen his office one before I think when he wanted Marshall to take a job there but I'd forgotten how awesome it was.

I was rather surprised at the end when it was revealed Robin was living with Ted in a years time, though I think its most likely to be as friends.

it most probably is as friends, but im not gonna lie... a part of me wishes that somehow, somewayyyyyy, robin is the mother lol.

Awww. I remember for awhile people were hoping there was a loophole and that Robin could be the mother. But, that was shot down by the creators of the show.

i highly doubt she is and that became VERY apparent during the "st-Patrick's day" party.
Robin was chilling with Marshall and Lily at their new apartment.. so it obviously can't be her.

i was thinking it might be stella because she did mention that went out ONE time that year and it wasnt even for long... but im not attached to her either.... hopefully she can grow on me because i really love ted and i want to love his future wife LOL.

The whole "wait, that was my 31st!!" thing has confused a lot of people online from what I see! Ignoring the whole Robin part, it looks like people are totally torn between whether a) Ted was remembering it wrong and transplanted the goat into the story of his 30th accidentally, or b) the goat in the bathroom was his 31st but the rescue was on his 30th and they kept the goat for a year.

Personally, I'd assumed a) when I watched it, but there are a lot of people thinking b)! Which to me doesn't seem like it could work, but people seem more evenly split down the middle than I expected!
