I loved the ending. Awesome !

Meh. Not the funniest episode.

It was alright. :shrug: A bit too hokey at times. And of course, we'll never know the truth. :P :lol:

I didn't really like the episode. Actually, it never really got my attention fully, I was on the internet at the same time and the episode wasn't funny enough for me to stop doing what I was doing... too bad.

Decent episode, but I want to know what the truth is. :lol: Barney's stuff was good. I didn't understand what was so fantastic about the monkey climbing up Ted's building? :shrug:

Well I think the point was just whether or not Ted was just making that part of the story up for the kids. But I didn't think it seemed as "omg!" as they were all making out :lol: I guess if it was any crazier it would have been obviously made up, hee.

I enjoyed the ep. Personally I don't think either of Marshall's stories were true.. I think he just lost his wallet and them made up the mugging story to sound cool, and then made up the monkey story because he thought Lily wouldn't believe him if he said he'd just lost it - monkey story would look to embarrassing to make up :nod: :lol:

Because it was just like the scene in the movie King Kong, where the gorilla climbed the Empire State Building. I don't think the monkey thing with Ted's building happened, because we all know future Ted embellishes. ;)

I think Marshall really did get mugged by a mugger with a gun. The only times he changed his story to the monkey was when Lily was in earshot. I think he was afraid she'd get the gun because he was afraid of an accident or just having it around. He should have just told her that though. She would respect it because she loves him. I think the whole lying thing was unnecessary :shrug:

Yeah, I didn't like this one much either. :(

And Jamie, I don't think you're the only person who didn't know there was a new ep as the ratings were down by about 4 million!!

I finally JUST watched the episode. It was okay.

Ratings down by 4 mil!?! :eek: Ouch.

I did LOVE the Marshall/Ted/Barney scene though all staring intensely. I also loved the play on Barney being "Neil". Very cute, tongue in cheek.
