I think Robin is a bit lost right now and can't be in any kind of thing with anyone. What right now she needs is a friend and that's where Barney comes in to just spend time with her and help her back on her feet.

I agree that Robin might be searching for herself right now and that's possibly why she can't focus on her possible lingering feelings for Barney yet.

I think it will eventually hit her though.

I hope we see something from Robin this season, whether it be friendly or romantic or whatever. If Bays and Thomas follow their season finale pattern, then something having to do with a relationship will happen in the finale. Maybe we'll get a revelation from Robin this year after Barney's last year.

It would really make me happy to see Barney and Robin hanging out and doing things together like they did in seasons 1 & 2. If he was the person she confided in with anything that was going on with her, that would be awesome because then it would show how close they really are and how good they are together.

I'd really like to see that still.

I think it's possible it'll be something like that. I wouldn't put it past them to stretch it out til the finale before we get a Robin epiphany of sorts.
