Board Customization
 

Hi everyone, :wave:

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customizing message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture suggestions or colour ideas, please post them on this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible.

Your suggestions for possible colors and pictures will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible, the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team, because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colors fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customization process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or ask them on the message board customization thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customized.

Note: It usually takes less than 2 weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

Anyway I really like the order of characters in this pic - with Ted in the middle more in front. But I actually like the individual pics better. Like this, e.g. Barney, Robin, Ted, Lily and Marshall.

I'll have to think about colors and pics. The first color coming to mind was red, but I know you guys don't use that. I'm thinking light colors too.

That's wonderful Jen! So excited. :yay: I don't know, I'd love to see a light blue color scheme with dark blue accents...I think that would look stellar. Love the pictures you posted Do. :nod:

How about something sunny? Not yellow per se because this could be a nightmare for eyes but something in this tonality of colors? It'd be a nice reference to the umbrella, too.

I was slightly bad and didn't get this started as soon as I should have so, you only have a little over a week. The sooner the better though because some team members will start making their graphics now. :nod:

I also love how the guys look in this one, but Cobie looks weird there and Aly is still a redhead... Oh and this S1 pic is cute as well.
Also there's this awesome S3 Barney (although personally I think it's more Neil because hello, no tie?! :lol:) and I love this S1 Marshall :D

I have no ideas about the colors though. Except no pink nor dark colors, please? :flowers:

I love the pictures you posted & I agree about the lettering. :D
For me, when I think of HIMYM colors green and orange come to mind.

The two pics Rhi posted are definitely my faves! Even though they're older, they don't really look all that different besides Aly's hair :lol: but the individual S3 shots put together would be pretty too.
