The Mother Appreciation #1: Because Ted's not the only one waiting to meet her.
 One of the best things about the show is the mystery of the mother of Ted's future children. Here we can speculate on who we think the mother is, what we know and discuss some of the women we've seen Ted with over the course of the series. What We Know ++ The mother carried a yellow umbrella. ++ She attended the St. Patrick's Day party on March 17th 2008. ++ The yellow umbrella is now in possession of Ted. ++ Ted met her in New York City. ++ She was a student in Ted's class. __________________

Me too. I'm pretty steamed Ted took her yellow umbrella after the St. Patrick's Day party but maybe that's how they'll meet again?

I love the mother, even though I've never met her. Her and Ted make up quite possibly the most odd ship I've shipped yet.

I loved in the first season how they had soo many fake-outs. Especially in the Belly Full of Turkey episode.

I really really hope they don't leave it until the final episode. I would be so mad. I want to see the relationship between Ted and the mother. Otherwise the show really should be called "All the random relationships and crap that happened to my friends and I before I met you mother."
