Hi, Amber! That's okay, I know life gets in the way at times.

Thanks. I'm sorry you lost your old account. I've lost a lot of YouTube friends and followers that way.

I think The Burning Beekeeper is an underrated Ted/Robin episode. I like it because of the way it plays with a non-linear narrative, which is basically what HIMYM has done all along. It's like a Tarantino movie that way, or a Christopher Nolan film. But yeah, if you allow the misdirection to get out of hand it can mess things up a lot.

You should check out Definitely, Maybe. It's basically the same story, where the father(Ryan Reynolds) is telling his daughter(Abigail Breslin) how he met her mother, but doesn't tell you which of the women in the story(Isla Fisher, Rachel Weisz, Elizabeth Banks) is her actual mother, or whether the mother is the one he ends up with. That's why I compare HIMYM to Definitely, Maybe.

Yeah, we get it. But I do agree that the writers overdid it, as well as overplaying their misdirection for the sake of a surprise ending. They needed to lead up to Ted and Robin getting back together a bit better and not waste so much time with that other pairing, you know?

I think you're right. In fact, I think Barney and Robin should broken up at least near the end of Season 8 or the beginning of Season 9. There was no law that Ted had to meet Tracy in the first half of the series finale.

That is just wrong on so many levels.

Hi, there! It's nice to see you back here on the board!

I agree with that. I think it was useless to drag that wedding out for the entire final season if it was just going to end the way it did. The wedding and breakup should've happened either at the end of season 8(as originally planned), or at the start of season 9 so they could've spent the final season developing the storyline of how Ted and Robin get back together after Tracy's death.

Thanks for that one, Mark. There was another scene with Penny and Luke also saying, "What?" at the end.

Hi, Amber! I missed you! Thanks for posting those!

Aww, that's the season two episode, right? I forgot the title. I'll have to go look it up, but Ted taking care of Robin while she was sick and then getting sick himself is a total boyfriend win!

Hi, Alex!

Im adjusting to my new work schedule to I’ll be able to post more

It’s from season 2 “First Time In New York” he took care of her when she was sick and ended up getting sick from kissing her. So she took care of him too this is the stuff I like to see. They had a deep emotional bond..goes way farther than a relationship based on the physical..not naming any names

Hi, Amber! I understand a new work schedule. I had to do it as well. It's okay, post when you're able to.

Ahh, First Time In New York. That was when Robin's sister visited New York, right? Lucy Hale played her. And it was when Robin first realized she loved Ted, but she couldn't say "I love you" because she had never said that to a man before, so she said "falafel."

Yes! My favorite season 2 episode I think it would have been cute if they used falafel as their inside joke. In the finale Ted should have said I love you and she responds with “falafel”

That's a great idea! But I think it would've been better if Robin had said, "I love you," as a way of proving that she can finally say those words to Ted, and Ted replies, "falafel," with both of them knowing what it means.

She was too nervous to say the actual words.

OMG, Hi, Mary! It's so great to see you back! It's been a long time!

Yep, "falafel" is Robinese for "I love you," so it still counts.

Oh, and I love your sig. I hate Walmart too, because I work there.

I got fired from the place, and never EVER going to look back!

Have you ever considered looking for a different job?

I'm sorry you got fired, but I'm glad you're free from Walmart, or Hellmart, as I call it.

I've been considering it for years, Mary. But I still have to pay off my credit card debt and figure out where I'm gonna go next.
