The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the Color Palettes or Coolors websites. As we want every board to have their own unique look it is preferable that you do not link to the customisations of other boards as suggested colour schemes.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes approximately two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have finished making the graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

Thank you for starting this!! We will begin looking for pictures and encouraging others as well. When do you need pictures by? Like when is a final deadline. I read through but might have missed it.

Please share all thoughts on what pictures & colours you would like to see used in this thread. The thread will close in two weeks time. As the Graphics Team is working on your new banner at the same time as this thread is opened the sooner you decide the more time the Graphics Team has to make your new banner.

For me when it comes to your photo choice, it’s more of with or without the beard! Hard choice!

What sort of colours would you like to see here? Would you like to see something similar to what you've got now or are you thinking you'd like to see something different?

Are there any recent photoshoots Penn has done that you'd like to see us use for the new banner? I did come across these which seem to be recent:

As much as I love him without the beard, he’s made it clear it’s staying so we probably should reflect his choice. There’s some from recent press for YOU he’s done where both he and his beard look good. I linked below.

I know there’s more from the shoot that we all can look through. As far as color, i need to look at the color palette suggestions you’ve linked and I encourage others too bc I agree, certain brights can be too harsh to look at for long.

You don't have to reflect his choice, but it may make the banner appear outdated. Especially if he's had the beard for a number of years now & is sticking with it.

Yes I agree. That’s what I meant, I don’t want it to be outdated if this is how he appears now. Especially if he gains new fans and potential poster for the board. They might recognize him more with the beard.

I meant the photoshoot the pictures are from. Buzzfeed possibly just collected pictures from various sources. If there are only those two pictures in that shoot though then it unfortunately isn't usable as we need at least three pictures.

It’s from this interview with Bustle. He was photographed by one of their photographers. But the Getty Images link you provided has all of them. Can we choose through the link you provided? How many pictures would you like the board to give roughly? I’ve messaged a few posters to provide their thoughts.

I love that photoshoot & agree we should probably stick with a bearded photoshoot. Gotta admit it was jarring seeing him without it at the end of the new season.

If you wish to pick favourites from that shoot you would prefer us to use you can. We need a minimum of three images. However if you select more that gives us more options to work with in case some pictures don't work.
