I feel like i've learned more about him in these past two months than ever before. Post GG is doing him well

Plus, is there anyone from GG that has played a character as loved as Woodchuck Todd? i just noticed that he gets alot of attention for being Todd. Which is great because if other people know him first and foremost as Todd...that's awesome

TBH, other than Penn, only Blake has had a noted role in a successful film (The Town) and while critics liked her and I enjoyed the character, it was a darker character and not exactly 'beloved'.

Yeah her character wasn't likeable but I think she was trying to break away from Serena.
Yeah penn has had the most notable roles outside of gg.

In the Margin Call commentary J.C. mentioned that Penn made Seth likable when really the script didn't call for that. I found that interesting. He and the producer point out all these little things he does when he's acting and they're like "brilliant acting there" boy is just intuitive. I've always thought of him as a natural actor. he can say anything and make it convincing where I don't think that's so easy for all actors. I watched Margin Call this morning just for the heck of it and he holds his own so well amoungst all those heavy weights. I'm very proud. There's not one line or face he makes in the entire movie where you think, "He's not as experienced as the rest"

Honestly, just my opinion. I don't think Blake is that great of an actor. I think she's decent but there's a lot of roles I don't think she could pull off. It's not just about her roles for me, it's more about her technique. She almost seems painfully aware of herself at times. If that makes sense.

I read back and saw when everyone was talking about Zoe's acting and I have to agree that she's not very good lol. She has her moments but man,...Maybe Penn can do some improv with her

I think Blake is decent but she is also inexperienced. She needs to do more work. GG was her second role ever. She has something but she needs the experience IMO. Penn is a very intuitive actor and he is more experienced than the others.
