THANKSGIVING ON THE UPPER EAST SIDE — Thanksgiving in the Waldorf household finds Blair (Leighton Meester) upset that her mom’s (Margaret Colin) new boyfriend, Cyrus (guest star Wallace Shawn), has decided to ruin all her favorite traditions, but that’s nothing compared to what’s coming next. Lily (Kelly Rutherford) finds herself trying to broker a peace treaty between Rufus (Matthew Settle) and Jenny (Taylor Momsen) who is prepared to cut off all communication with her father if she doesn’t get her way. Serena (Blake Lively) isn’t quite ready to come clean with Aaron (guest star John Patrick Amedori) about her complicated past, but Dan (Penn Badgley) ends up accidentally revealing a few tidbits of his own. Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick) come to their friend’s aid when Nate (Chace Crawford) is once again forced to confront his father’s (guest star Sam Robards) abandonment. Finally, Eric (Connor Paolo) discovers a secret that Bart (Robert John Burke) has been keeping from Lily. Jessica Szohr also stars. Jean DeSegonzac directed the episode written by Joshua Safran

Rebecca: I might be reading into this a little bit, but is there anything at all going on between Blair and Serena on Gossip Girl, chemistry-wise? They seem much too touchy and flirty than best friends normally are.
Kristin: You aren't the only one! We've received many emails regarding this rumor/theory, and a reliable source who works on the show says, "That's insane. No, we're not planning anything like that." Is it really so insane, though? I'm pretty sure the Gossip Girl book series ended with Serena and Blair kissing each other on the lips and murmuring, "You know you love me." (Saucy!) Regardless, I'm told Serena's brother Eric is the only one with any same-sex happenings in the works for a good long while. Disappointed? Relieved? Comment below. In the meantime, Blair and Serena will be getting some hot male action on the show in future episodes, courtesy of the B******* (yee!) and Serena's new love interest, the hot artist Aaron Rose played by John Patrick Amedori...

Also, and this is complicated, so pay attention: Chuck and Blair meet their clones, Chuck 2.0 and Blair 2.0, and end up giving their respective doppelgängers advice on how to hook up with the 2.0 version of themselves. Hopefully in the midst of all that, the original flavors of Chuck and Blair will realize that they are madly in love and will get back together already!
