Yeah, both Chicago PD and Modern Family were repeats so that probably explains the boost in the ratings.

Right Chicago med /fire usally have 7-8 million viewers Modern family is normally under 4 million

Yep, PD is a little lower than them, but from my understanding, that's the norm for 10pm slots. CM getting a boost with PD off makes sense, though, as they're similar shows so probably share a portion of viewers.

First over the past few seasons criminal Minds was hurt by Empire on Fox. Normally Criminal minds beats modern family over the last three years.
Still the new season has Average almost 5,000,000 viewers __________________

I think CM actually gets more viewers than Modern Family sometimes, but Modern Family gets a higher 18-49 demo score. CM is an older skewing show.
I think being back on 9 is helping a bit too. The ratings would probably be a bit lower if they were on at 10. I forgot that CM is up against Chicago Fire now. They were up against Chicago PD the last two seasons. |

Not posted here yet but the description of the two-part season finale is out. Does contain a lot of spoilers . Part one will have flashbacks. Part 2 at a party for a team member more flashbacks to past team dinners .
Season finale airs next week the 19th What isn’t said is if we will see in any of these flashbacks Hotch ?? __________________
