Seriously... no big deal...

My friends brother is 13-14 (I don't know, last year before high school) and he watches The Walking Dead (and also Fear)... and Game of Thrones... well, he surely didn't start it from the beggining... but lets say he started it two years ago which would make him 11-12... Ah, new generations...

No, he isn't a psycho.

I don't think shows are scary much... nor that good for that matter.

Yeah, it's not really a big deal, especially if kids can handle it and separate it from reality. And hey, I turned out fine (I think ) and I'm not a serial killer, so it's all good

I'm sure some people out there would think it's horrible to let an 8 year old watch a crime show. I don't know. It never bothered me. Gore and violence was never an issue for me and I knew it wasn't real.

I've been reading extensively about serial killers since I was 12 and I turned out fine, so I'd agree that it's not exactly an issue. As long as parents do their jobs, I'm sure kids will be alright.

Exactly. Plus, my dad (or mom when my dad was at work) was always watching/in the room with me when I watched the shows.

So true. Sadly though, it seems like half the world doesn't understand this

I've noticed that too. I get wanting the new guys to promote the show, but I want to see the older cast promote it as well. Lately it seems like it's just Aisha and Adam. Maybe it's because of the circumstances?

It's the 12th season so I understand them focusing on new faces but at the same time it's like... they seem really sure people will warm up to Adam's character. I didn't follow the promos back when Jennifer or Jeanne joined, did they promote the characters that much? Maybe they're counting on Adam's CSI:Miami fanbase.

So far it's mostly been Aisha and Adam promoting the show, with Paget and Joe making occasional tweets.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I don't think Jeanne or Jennifer were used as much to promote the show. Jennifer I think more than Jeanne, but I don't think Jennifer was used for promotion for than the rest of the cast.

It could be because Adam has been with CBS before and Aisha has history with them as well. Or they really want people to like Adam since he's replacing Shemar and Thomas is off the show now.

Good point.

Maybe for contractual reasons it's easier (and cheaper) to get Aisha and Adam to do the promos. But I think they're really focusing on Adam because they can't risk another Seaver situation where people didn't warm up to the character at all. With both Hotch and Morgan gone, Luke really has ridiculously big shoes to fill.

He definitely has big shoes to fill.

I'm fine with them using Adam, but I want to see the others promote the show as well. And I think a lot of fans probably feel the same way. Nothing against Adam or Aisha, but I'm sure more people are more interested and would rather see the cast who have been on for a decade as they have been a huge part of the show and its success.
