You know, yeah Morgan and Garcia have really good chemistry, but really he is closer to Reid and JJ in other ways since they are all in the field together. To me Morgan and Garcia have a talking relationship, they affirm each other vocally, but with Reid and JJ he is more physical since he is around them more.

I hope that made sense.......if it doesn't then tell me and I can try to explain it better.

I get what you're saying. And I agree, especially with Reid.

You're right that he has more of a talking relationship with Garcia. They reassure each other with their words. But they do also comfort each other with hugs from time to time, but since they're apart a lot they rely more on their words to communicate.

With JJ and Reid, you're right that since he spends more time with them in the field, it's a bit of a different relationship. It can be more physical. They're working and fighting side by side. They way they talk with each other is different than he talks with Garcia.

I'd say he's especially close to Reid. Because while he sort of has more of a talking relationship with Garcia, and you can say he has more of a "physical" relationship with JJ, you can say he has both with Reid. He's not afraid to hug Reid and be "physical" with him, but they can also talk to each other about many different things. It was Morgan that Reid went to about his nightmares in season 1. It was Morgan that Reid opened up to about being bullying in Elephant's Memory. They can pull pranks on each other and make snarky comments to one another and know that it's okay. They're not afraid to tell each other and can open up to each other. So they have both parts of the relationship going on.
