Haven't seen the season 6 episodes in a while.

I liked "Lauren", though I wasn't a huge fan of the Prentiss arc overall. Although I didn't like the idea of it, I thought the Lauren episode was good.

Lauren was her "death" episode .. As i have posted in the past ,her being brought back to life and they way the team found out was not done well. Yes most fans saw the finale of S-6 Aj meeting a person in france ,with no fingernails.. knowing it was Emily . how in S-7 Reid was angry at JJ for like 3 ep over not telling him emily was alive . We also got Hotch in the beard start of S-7

Yeah, we were able to figure out Emily was alive in "Lauren" when we saw her and JJ in Paris and we saw Emily's fingernails. But then in 200 they had Emily and JJ on the jet together going to Paris. Seemed like backtracking to me. If they were already together why'd they meet in sort of secret in Paris?

That gif set and the following twitter photo highlights how different Prentiss and Paget are. Her social media is fun, she can be down right wacky.

I just figured that the jet scene came before the Paris scene. Prentiss seemed to have healed (no limp or anything) walking away from JJ. They might have given Prentiss different identities through the course.

Start of Season 7 Doyle was on the run and close to being caught . My issue was Hotch comes in tells the team Emily is alive then 4 min later she walks thru the door . Hell of way to bring back the dead..

Paget has said in many interviews that season 6 was it , she was done killed off , Then went on to explain her agent calls and says they want you back for all of Season 7, then Emily story is she moves to London to work in head of one of Interpol agencies.
then we don't see her again till season 9

Yeah, the news of Emily being alive was sprung on them. One minute she's dead the next minute they're told she's alive and she walks in. I'd be in a state of shock if I was someone on the team!

I can't remember everything from the ordeal, but I do remember they told Paget she had to come back because she still had a contract for season 7. Was it known by the time they filmed her death episode? I thought they maybe left it open ended just in case, but weren't sure yet for sure if she'd be back or not. I think it had to do with whether or not she could get a pilot for the next TV season. She didn't, so she had to go back to fulfill the contract.

d18, the plane scene was before the Paris scene. I just felt it was weird to have JJ and Prentiss on the plane together and then meet up again. Did JJ not have the passports? It would have made more sense if she had just given them to her on the plane instead of meeting in Paris for a hot second. I don't know, I always felt the Paris scene was them meeting up for the first time since Emily's "death". They never actually said it but it just felt like it to me.

I missed that season entirely. I was watching the repeats which is how I got into it and the channel skipped that season and I never got round to watching it
