Yup it was live, just like it says in the title! They did a lot of rehearsals, she was in NYC for like 3 months before the performance, but it was well worth it, the entire cast did a amazing job! Especially Carrie obviously

Always & Forever

It took me a few times seeing Aaron in various things (Tony Awards performance, Gossip Girl), before I could remember his name and remember who he was. It was when I saw him in promos for Graceland & Les Miserablés (that were coming out around the same time), that I decided he was someone I wanted to remember forever.

Yes! Grease: Live! is THIS Sunday, January 31st, at 7/6c on FOX! It's gonna be so epic and I am so excited to see Aaron (I honestly don't care about anyone else )!!

But getting back to this one, I plan to watch it again sometime soon, I just don't know when!

Aw what a great video! It is great so much of it is on you tube! I love how she changed her voice a bit to not sound so "country" for this, she sounds amazing. And her outfits were awesome too too

She did, it was really impressive

Um that is a good question. I think she was asked about it at some point, but I don't remember what she said. There was a lot of haters out there who were really hating on Carrie so I didn't really read a lot of other people's thoughts and stuff. Outside this forum that is.

I think she was asked before the thing was aired. As far as I remember they asked her if she was going to watch it and she said no. She would be in an event or something. But that it was impressive that they were doing it live and that Carrie had such a hard job to do.

But yeah. There were a lot of people not liking it. Even on the media there was a lot of talking. They kept comparing Carrie's voice to Julie's.

Comparison is natural, but it was based on the play, not the movie, so I didn't get the comparisons at all. And comparing Carrie to Julie is just flat out unfair. They both have great voices in their own way. And to be mean and make death threats just because you don't like something, that is uncalled for.

Good job not forgetting her lyrics then though I would have

Her singing is amazing, her acting is okay
But it did kinda disturb me in the beginning that they changed the song order and scenes haha

I guess it was a god thing I hadn't watched the original version when I saw this one. Those things didn't bother me.
