I am at the beach. My husband tried to drive home and his car broke down. I took my meds and couldn’t go get him. His parents had to help; I feel bad.

 not too bad so far but still two weeks left... surprised this week went smoothly when I was down an educator & have an educator on prac in my room. Then two days of rain so stuck inside. Pretty good considering all things. Would like to sleep for a week though__________________

That is something then. I would hate to be stuck inside from the rain with a large group of children. That sounds like a challenge to keep them all entertained and to keep up with their level of energy. I hope things continue to go well or at least better than you fear for the month Chelle.
Any updates on if your centre will go through the government assessment soon? __________________

I was just glad it was only two days
 I don't know about the children, but I had cabin fever after the second day  They just reach a point where they've had enough, they need to be able to move around more & be more active & louder. But inside voices & walking feet need to be respected still for safety (& my sanity) We'll see . From next week the prac student (co-educator, so both educator & student) is in charge of the room for three weeks so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully well for her. Quote:

Thinking about you!
My co-teacher is going through a little crisis right now, so I really hope it doesn't affect her mentally and she's still able to be there for the kids and for her assistants (myself included) and that this will just be something that will blow over in a few days or weeks and it doesn't affect her job & her character as a person.  |

It is hard to find that balance at times. But you really need to be in the moment when it comes to children & not let your personal life come into your work. Probably the same with other jobs too, but children have so many needs & need you to be strong tooMimica asked me to post in here that she went back into hospital on Saturday, which is why she didn't make it on over the weekend. Hopefully she'll be released & able to post with us again soon  __________________

She seems to be doing better now. Thank goodness!
Hoping the day off of school on Monday will help us to relax and rejuvenate before the week starts again! Oh, no about Mimica! I hope she's doing OK! Please tell her to get better, but to take her time to come back! |

Glad she is doing better. Hopefully the extra day helps even more
Sometimes we all can use that extra day off to refresh us She hadn't been released on Friday & haven't heard anything over the weekend but that could be my lack of phone reception. Hopefully she will be released & back soon. She was doing ok when I was texting her on Friday morning. Two more weeks left of my co-educator running the room Can they go quickly?  __________________
