Right, there should be plenty to discuss. I'm actually surprised to see One Chicago close when I came back to this time around. So many characters, relationships, and shows to discuss when it's a franchise.
Oh, I also like Johnnie's crossword puzzles. Those are fun! Trivia stuff is always interesting. __________________

Yeah I think that was more Dick Wolf's doing. Without souring this thread, lets just say he has left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. There wasn't the interest to step up & save or mod the board I don't think. Then the mods there had lost interest & I know at least one of them won't watch another Dick Wolf show. So they had activity & things to talk about but the mods didn't want to be there.
Yes his crosswords are good, but hard We lost the one on NCIS actually as the answers are hard. Need to work for those . I might need to find what happened to it & check what episode I need to watch to find answers |

Oh, I didn’t hear about that drama. I stopped watching those shows a while back. I did hear a bit after Sophia Bish left but it simmered down and just rumors if she left on her own or was fired, something like that. My memory is fuzzy. Good people are hard to find in Hollywood. That’s why I’ve just taken the approach to separate the actors from their acting. You dig deep enough, you’ll find things you wish you didn’t know.
They were hard. Even rewatching the episode, some of it was difficult. I liked the challenge though. __________________

On SVU it is reported that he fired an actress because he wanted someone younger. No proof of course, people just speculate. It certainly seemed to come from nowhere. At the same time something was happening with at least one of the Chicago shows too, & I think they too had someone leave suspiciously. After that a lot of fans were highlighting a number of other questionable casting decisions across all DW shows. Makes him come across as toxic, sexist, ageist, & supportive of abusers over victims (not just in the Sophia Bush case). As you said - you dig deep enough, you will find things you wish you didn't know. Anyway, I wasn't going to sour things
Agreed that rewatching doesn't always remove the challenge |

Gotcha. To give him some credit, he’s not the only person who wants a specific type of person for a role, whether it be younger or prettier or someone with more energy. Other people in leadership roles, even in professions outside the entertainment industry, do strive for those things (or other criteria). Although every place says they are equal and fair, we are not stupid. They just have to make that statement so no one sues them. Some places of employment just hide it better. They will give you a different reason why you are not a good fit or why they are laying you off, letting you go.
You’re good, Chelle. It is basically just you and me. In fact, since I started posting on Kelly, I’m actually a bigger fan of her than Carrie now. I think I’ve listened to Carrie so much that all her songs sound similar, just with different lyrics. I’m not interested in listening to her songs over and over anymore. __________________

Jessica is currently away (I think she is back Thursday). Mimica normally only posts once a week but a batch (which would be why she said we got bonus posts the other day ) So only sort of just us. I will happily convert people into bigger Kelly fans Winter seemed to set in today cool change came through, even I am feeling the cold today |

Ah, I see. Yes, I did pick up on that from Mimica. She’s a good friend! I’m not really posting much on other threads, just here. Music is a little harder to discuss than shows/movies, IMO. But also I watch a lot more stuff than listen to music. Even for music, I prefer watching music videos where there is some action along with the singing. To be honest, I only really listen to music in the car to and from work and now I am off work, there isn’t much listening to music.
Send some of that cold to us, please! It is too warm over here, and I hate the heat. Around this time in 2019, we were in New Zealand and Australia! __________________

That makes sense Music can be harder. Plus you can have longer breaks between music with albums being years apart so you can go a while without new content
Yes you would've been around now, didn't think of that. So long ago now I don't want heat or summer so sorry I'll make the most of any small amount of winter or cold I can get. Won't go cold enough or last long enough for me |

Dick Wolf shows can lead down a dark path if you go behind the scenes of them.

I'm trying to. Hard to rest that side of the body & continue living though Getting better sort of though. Just need to try avoiding too many repetitive tasks & lifting/carrying things. Thought I would be ok today but probably wasn't as my shoulder isn't the happiest with me atm.
