Does anyone read his books or read them when you were younger? Whether it's Goosebumps or Fear Street, it doesn't matter.

Yes, I used to read Goosebumps all the time when I was younger. :D

Loved Goosebumps and Fearstreet.

Were all his teen books Fearstreet? And I know those type of books for teens were popular in the 90s.

I used to read Goosebumps... Never heard of Fear Street before..

I have Say Cheese and Die!, The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, and Let's Get Invisible. I have read all three books. I want to read more Goosebumps books.

I've read some goosebumps. Don't think I ever read Fear Street though.

Goosebumps were aimed more towards young children. Fear Street was aimed towards teens and would be considered YA today. If I remember right all the books in that took place on the same street.

Ahh okay. Thanks.

I can't believe you've never heard of Fear Street books.

I went to book store and I finally saw Fear Street books and it seems that they have two books in one book..

CatFoley16 08-03-2015 05:09 PM

They probably sell them like that now. They're usually only about 200 pages per book.
I loved reading the Goosebumps and Fear Street books as a kid. :D I think they're what got me into horror hehe.
Thanks for this thread! :)

It seems like a lot of the teen books from the 90s were a lot shorter. No more than 200 pages like stated below. They did it with The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle which were both from the 90s.

Stay to the Lights 08-04-2015 07:56 AM

 I noticed that too.

socialfirefighter 08-04-2015 08:56 AM

If anyone is interest, there is a Goosebumps movie coming out this October.

CatFoley16 08-04-2015 04:35 PM

I'm very intrigued by that, mostly for nostalgia sake. I also noticed the shortness of 90s books. I'm currently re-reading a teen love series from then and the longest book is a bit over 200 pages.
