I've got quite a few Jodi Picoult books and 19 Minutes is my favourite out of them. As soon as I read the back cover I was gripped. It's a very relevant subject and you feel for the characters.

The Pact is a very good one Rukia, if you are looking to read another one

I've heard nothing but good things from everyone about Nineteen Minutes. I hope I'll get to it soon.

Nikki, the first book I read from Jodi was The Pact, and I absolutely loved it! It was quite heartbreaking and so suspenseful. I've also read Keeping Faith and Plain Truth.

My first was My Sisters Keeper a good few years ago.

Somehow I always feel a bit of resentment when books come out as movies, because if I have read and loved the book ages before , I feel like I can't express myself about it because I'm just going with the trend.
I hate looking like a follower

I haven't seen the movie adaptation at all nor was I planning to. It looked a bit cheesy to be honest. I've heard great things about the book though, so I definitely want to read it!

Would you recommend any other books?

I love Jodi Picoults books I have read The Pact, Keeping Faith, Plain Truth, Perfect Match, My Sister's Keeper, Nineteen Minutes, Change of Heart, Handle With Care and House Rules. I love her writing style --how she mixes crime, courtroom drama, family relationships with some romantic twist added in. I love them all but my faves are Plain Truth and Perfect Match.

House Rules probably my least fave - I just found the main character frustrating for some reason....

I liked the movie adaption of MSK better than the book both endings made me cry like a baby though lol

I didn't really like "House Rules" I just got "Sing You Home" which looks better then her last few books.

Is anyone else reading "Sing You Home"?

My fave is MSK but 19 mins is after that

I did try to read House Rules, but i couldnt really get that absord in it

I got Jodi Picoult coming to my local hometown signing her new book on 14th April, so i might get the new book

That's awesome that she's coming for a book signing in your town. I'm jealous. Her latest book looks really good and a great relevant topic for this time. I'm on the waiting list at the library for it, I'm the 2nd person in line for it.

I'm just about to start Sing You Home so I hope it's good. I haven't been grabbed by any of her books after Nineteen Minutes so I hope this one is finally a good one from her.

Oh my. A JP board! I am so stoked, even though no one's posted here in a while.

I absoultely love her. I've met her three times and she's always lovely. She's even answered me on twitter.
