He was a silly character; more like a Dickens book.
 Oh jolly! Little green balls! What are they called? I should grow them at home. ....and then Lady Susan ended up marrying him. There were so many characters, it was sometimes hard to keep up, not knowing the story. |

No she thought marrying the young heir would benefit her future.
The daughter fell in love with him. She wanted her daughter to marry the silly pea man, until her friend advised her that his money and security would be good for her own future. So they swapped. I had to laugh at Lady Susan's new husband talking about (his wife's boyfriend) that man being separated from his wife, and coming to live with them. He was great company! |

 Never! I was surprised at Lady Susan having a married man as a boyfriend, and then he moves in with the newlyweds, and she announces she is having a baby, right after the wedding. |
