Kurt Vonnegut Books
I just started reading Cat's Cradle in English class and it's such a great book. Just the way Vonnegut writes, and the irony and symbolism of everything. I know he's written alot of other books, almost all satire, like Slaughter-House Five, My teacher told us alot of the stories he wrote were based on something he experienced in life.
Slaughter-House Five was named or based after his experience during a WW II, when he had to hide in a slaughter house to avoid the fire bombing. __________________

I remember reading Cat's Cradle in junior English in high school and loving it - but I can't remember why. I guess I need to go back and read it again

I've always wanted to read Vonnegut, but I haven't been able to finish his books. I really loved the beginning of Cat's Cradle though so I think I'm going to try that one again. Slaughterhouse Five is supposed to be good too.

I love Cat's Cradle! Much better than Slaughterhouse Five IMO.

I've only read Slaughterhouse Five and I absolutely loved it. His style is quite different but it was intriguing and kept me reading.
I really want to read more of his work, though. __________________
