But those that I don't like or want anymore, I usually give away to friends or to charity.

Ah okay. I still try to read though I'm in University too. The fact it takes me an hour to travel there and back helps to read on the way.
But I do hear that people tend to read less while in university than out of it.

I might do some cleaning out as I have books from highschool they I don't want and restock my shelf with newer books I like

I can't bring myself to get rid of books I don't want or even ones that I didn't really like. Not sure...I just can't do it. Even the few I still kept from college.

I keep all books that have a good storyline and I want to keep the rest I take to my local charity shop where I also tend to buy most of my books from

That is two hours of reading time ! My uni is just a ten minutes walk so can't get any reading done

Unless I absolutely hate the book, I just can't part with any of my books. Sometimes I go back to reread them if I'm in a particular mood.

I simply can't part with them.

This is pretty much me. My train ride to uni consists of me just reading or playing How to train your dragon on my phone.

Some books I either gave it away to charity or library, but now, the library change the rule that they are no longer to accept the books if anyone want to give it away.. Which that was weird..

I know right.. I was like umm why, they was like they won't accept any books that are new or old anymore even tho it seems that they don't know the real reason, but it was dumb rule...
