I love iBooks on my iPad. I've been using it ever since I got my first iPad so for 4 or 5 years now. I love that you can change the font style and size, and the colour of the pages. You can look up words if you want, or highlight a phrase or sentence if you like it. I don't know why, but I also really like when I swipe to go to the next page it looks like I'm flipping a page in a book. I've never had anything else other than one ebook that I could only get using the Kindle app which I downloaded on my iPad for it (my tumblr friend had released a series using Amazon publishing), so that's the only thing I can compare it to, and I much prefer iBooks over the Kindle app. But I don't know what it's like with other e-readers. But I personally never felt the need to have a separate e-reader when I can just have it all on my iPad

The colour in iBooks is amazing! I bought e-book version of a book that mostly had pictures, and it was amazing!

^ Sounds like a kindle. We have those features as well. Not sure I'd like reading from a tablet... well, any bigger than what I have. Given my kindle is kinda a tablet.

Whereas I'm the opposite, I couldn't read on anything smaller than my iPad. I guess because I've always read with something that size. My stepmom has an iPad mini and uses that for her books, and I just find it too small for me.

I think when you're used to a certain size, it feels natural and then trying to read from anything smaller or bigger feels odd.

Its crazy to think I used to read from my iPod and on the computer.. back in the day

I couldn't read the biggest size.. I felt like the more I read, my eyes start to blur..

i can never read on my computer, i'm fine with my phone and kindle but.

My eyes always get tired if I try to read on the computer. Same with fanfics. On phones, it's too small for me.

But e readers are the right size for me.

Yeah, I couldn't read on my phone now. But back many years ago, there wasn't many options. I couldn't afford an e-reader at that point.

True. I think before I had one I had read a few on my computer and didn't like it.
