Do you carry a book around everywhere? #3

Continue here...

I don't go out enough to really carry a book with me now a days  plus going through periods/phrases of reading. But will start carryin one for school when I go back in the Fall :)

Pretty much. I carry a book in my car to read if I go somewhere with my sister and she's driving, the hair salon while I'm under the dryer, on the way to church(yep  ), in my purse to read during my breaks at work, etc...

Hair salon is a good idea  to have a book

It's good to have a book with you everywhere. You never know when you'll have a few minutes to read.

I always have one in my purse.

I had like 30 mins to read today but was too worried/stressed too :lmao:

hann 07-03-2010 06:35 PM

I have days like that...it isn't fun. :)

crash landing 07-04-2010 07:18 AM

I wished that I did read though

Stacie18 07-04-2010 11:33 AM

Aww. What were you stressed about?

crash landing 07-04-2010 01:19 PM

Nothing that I needed to worry about :lmao:

I keep 2 books with me at all times, always. Does that make me weird? :lmao:

crash landing 07-05-2010 11:46 AM

I only keep one unless the current one is almost done

It doesn't make you weird Megan, I totally understand. I typically carry around only one, unless I haven't started either yet then I usually take a couple because I never know what I'm going to want to read or what mood I'm going to be in.

I've got two books with me today because I can't decide which one to read. I'm part way into both, and they are really interesting, just different styles so I'll have to see what I'm in the mood to read at lunch.

I've spent a lot of time on the train in and out of London the last year and a book makes it far less tedious. There is something really soothing about reading on a train, plus it doesnt make me feel sick like in the car. I did once get on the wrong train because I was engrossed in a book though!

If I am reading a really heavy book then I usually take something a bit less hefty with me instead, even if I don't finish it.

Today I was at a restaurant and while waiting for the food I had to continue reading Millennium II. Maybe it looked a bit "rude" for the rest of the people there but that book is so addictive. :D
