Children's Literature Discussion #2
So, I finally read Flat Stanley, from the 60's.
I was surprised to find that it was an actual boy. I expected the family to have a cardboard cutout in the house. Stanley's bookcase fell on him when he was in bed, and he woke up flat.  The doctor didn't know what to do. I won't tell you how his brother fixed things,since that would be a spoiler and you might still want to read it yourself.  |

Flat Stanley plot is kinda sorta reminding me of the Joe Hill story Pop Art. __________________

Well! It was certainly never on Reading Rainbow....it has 251 pages!
I thought it would be a read in one night kind of a book. This will take a while. |
