Mine favourite book was Winnie the Pooh. I've read it when I was 7 and it's still my best book I remember from my childhood.

The one that sticks out in my mind is "The Rose Horse" (I don't remember the author's name)--it's a cute story, & ever since I first read it long ago I've loved it.

I really love A Fish Out of Water by Helen Palmer. I reread it all the time. And the Berenstain Bears series, too.

ooh, so many! I mostly liked boarding school stories (Enid Blyton, Chalet School, others) and ballet stories (Jean Estoril, Noel Streatfeild, etc) but my biggest favourites were always The Neverending Story, The Secret Garden, and A Little Princess

I also loved Ramona! and Judy Blume so much.. still read 99% of it too

This is the story where the boy has a toy rabbit that has to get thrown out because he had scarlett fever. Then a fairy comes and turns him into a real rabbit isn't it? I hope I'm not getting this story confused with another.

When I was a child I loved:

Charlotte's Web by EB White
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach, both by Roald Dahl

I found the Ramona books by Judy Blume later
