Attn: Suggestions for the board.
Hi everyone. It has come to Amy and I's attention that something needs to be done in order to bring in more activity to this board. The monthly post count has been going down and down over the last few months, more so than usual. So this is where we ask for YOUR suggestions on the things that can be done. Do you want more and various threads.. if so, never be shy to open up a thread for anything you are excited about reading. Do you think we should be doing something diffferent? Please -- tell us. We want this board to continue to thrive, and not become one of those boards that get taken away from us because of low post count. We'd love to have more acitivity, even bring out luckers or posters that haven't posted or used to post here. Thanks, Jen & Amy. |

I'm so sorry to hear this.. I've noticed that too, but I also know I wsan't as active as I used to be here due to mynew job and just not having that much time anymore.. but I'll visit more regularly again

No it's fine.. it was just so many new things that had to go into my head so the first weeks were kinda exhausting.. I'm actally pretty excited about the job

Instead of a book of a month, maybe do an author spotlight each month? It would be a great way for others to discover something new.

I use to post here a lot, especially on the Romance thread. I thought I would pop over here and give some suggestions:
Posting challenge with another board? Might bring some traffic over here. Does this board have a tumblr/twitter account? Maybe messaging old posters to come back to the board? Perhaps give them a link to the newest thread they use to visit? Have a thread where  members have published books? Re-do some OPs of some of the threads here? Perhaps the more popular ones? You can always stop by the Fan Art board if you are in need of graphics. Have some writing lessons for beginners thread? Just some ideas. Hope they help! |

I'm glad you like it - and that's a great idea of yours! Bring more traffic here by word of mouth.
Another idea, not completely sure about it: Maybe have a thread where you can post a paragraph of your favorite book to get people to read it?  To enchant you. |
