Do you read new authors?
Do you generally buy the debut novel of a new author you're never heard of so far? Do you like to be one of the first people to write a review of debut novels, or are you more likely to wait and read a few reviews about that book before deciding whether to buy it?

I do buy debut novels of those I haven't read. If the blurb interests me, then I do take the punt. Prob why I have 4 bookcases
 I can't help myself.Reviews don't bother me, because each person will have a different opinion so I prefer to read for myself if its something I may like. I do like to check out reviews sometimes but don't let it influence me one way or another. |
