I wouldn't kid about The Perishers! I love them, too. The song was used really well, and I was so happy to see them use it. Gah.

Nope, I haven't heard it.. or rather paid attention. I might need to skip on over there though. I like their music.

so, i have spent hours trying to look for listings of the music played in the greek episodes. all i have been able to find is music for some of the s2 episodes on the blog on abcfamily.com and this site

Greek (2007) Episode Guide Season 1 - Music Guide - EPisodeWorld

which has detailed listings for first half of s1.

if anyone knows any other good sites or even some of the songs played in the other episodes, would really appreciate. enjoying the music on this show heaps.

thanks!

Thanks for the link! Awesome.

The two songs (or the way the songs were used) that stood out for me on the show were "Jenny" by Aidan Hawken and "Nothing Like You and I" by The Perishers.

^ Totally. I loved those songs!

They have music from the new episodes up at ABC Family, in case you ever need to know the name of a song or artist. I think they're starting to blog about all the songs featured in the episodes again.

Greek's music totally rocks. They have the best bands and now with an artist ,Jesse Mccartney, taking part in the show it makes it more interesting.

TV's GREEK Hits All The Right Notes

Did you watch ABC Family's "GREEK" last night? Well, you should have. Aside from being one of the most consistently entertaining and well-written/acted series on TV right now, the show always features some great new music.

Last night's party scene was no different. First off, it had The War Tapes (see photo) performing in the background. Then, Cute Is What We Aim For's "Do What You Do" played while Casey and Cappie had their little angsty closet moment. Finally, The Temper Traps' "Sweet Disposition" played while Ashley told Cappie to get his act together.

Sure, Alex Patsavas' shows like "Gossip Girl" and "Grey's Anatomy" get lots of credit for introducing new bands, but let's not forget that back in 2007, The Plain White T's were called on to do the "GREEK" theme song, later becoming the show's "house" band - cast as frat members who performed during party scenes. That led to musical spots for "Natural Disaster" and "1, 2, 3, 4."
