Casey: Someone's already getting me a drink. Thanks.
Cappie: In a cup? How boring.
Casey: Well, at least, I get to keep my clothes on.
Cappie: Rarely a virtue in my experience. And, just for the record, I was hoping you would do the shot off of me.

Casey: [walking down the stairs in a red dress] Hey.
Cappie: You look ... stunning.
Casey: You look pretty dapper yourself ... it's deja vu, sort of.
Cappie: Yeah, I've been thinking about the past myself lately.
Casey: Yeah ...

Cappie: If you win, what do you want?
Casey: How about 100 bucks? ... And what do you want?
Cappie: What do you think?
Casey: Tryin' to take advantage of me 'cause I'm a little drunk and a lot bad at this game, aren't you?
Cappie: [nodding yes] Nooo.
Casey: You're on.
Casey: You know, Cap, I hope I didn't hurt you when I ended things.
Cappie: Who said it's over?
Cappie: Don't scratch.
[Casey very obviously misses her last ball, losing the pool game and the bet]
Cappie: Did you mean to do that?
Casey: [nodding yes] No. [They kiss]

Casey: Have you forgotten our first time? You can be as cocky as you want but it was more than just sex.
Cappie: It was pretty amazing, right?
Casey: No! It was awkward, uncomfortable, and terrifying but ... we were in love.
It was the perfect moment in time that I look back on with no regrets.

Cappie: Nothing starts the day off right like that first cup of Joe.
After all, your first is always the best, don't you agree? The one that's the most special.
Casey: The one you can never avoid.
Cappie: The one you can never forget.
Casey: [to Rebecca] Um, I think I want an iced coffee.
Cappie: Might I recommend a Cappieccino?

Evan: It's just too bad you couldn't take care of Casey.
Cappie: Now why'd you have to go and bring that up?
Beaver: He took care of her ... all night long during rush.
Cappie: Down, Beave!

Casey: I happen to like nice guys.
Cappie: I'm nice guys.

Evan: You must be getting real tired of coming in second to me.
Cappie: You know what makes it easier? Knowing I'll always be her first.

Casey: I know where I wanna be in ten years. Do you?
Cappie: I wanna be with you.

Cappie: I know you ... [to Casey after he can sense that she came to see her for another reason]

Cappie: So seeing me with someone else is driving you insane?

Casey: [to Rebecca about Cappie] If you hurt him, I will hurt you.

Casey: I still care about you, Cap ...

Casey: I know I don't have any claim on him. It's just that Cappie has always been there for me ...

Cappie: It's really good to see you so relaxed. You're like your old self again.
Casey: Thanks, Cap.

Rebecca: [to Cappie] You're beneath me. You can't even get over your ex girlfriend.
Casey: Hey, don't bring me into this.
Rebecca: You've always been in this. And you always will be.

Casey: I'm sorry, Cap.
Cappie: About what? The fact that I don't have a plan.
Casey: About the fact that I judged you for it. I was wrong.
Cappie: What has gotten into you?
Casey: What do you mean?
Cappie:You're so nice and carefree and beach babe beautiful. I feel like I'm in a tampon commercial.
Casey: That's because in four days I have to go back to school and figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life.
Cappie: What about that ten year plan?
Casey: Let's just say I copied off of someone else's paper. And now I don't know what I'll be doing in ten minutes.
I'm staring out into the vast empty ocean that is my future.
Cappie: It feels good, doesn't it?
Casey: It does. And it feels terrifying. [They kiss]

Cappie: Hey, you think you might want to ...
Casey: I don't think that's a good idea. You've suffered a head trauma.
Besides, there are ten people sleeping in my room.
Cappie: I was going to say "get some breakfast."
Casey: Oh, that sounds nice. Let me go get my purse.
Cappie: Case, I ...
Casey: Go, she needs you.
Cappie: About tonight ...
Casey: It was nothing. Kissing a boy on the beach was eleven on my list. Thanks for the help.
[After he leaves, she opens her list. And we see that there is no #11 on her list.]

Casey: I'm ... I'm with Max. I mean, he's perfect! He loves me and I love him. You know, he gave up grad school for me!
Why can't you find someone else who's perfect for you?
Cappie: Because no other girl in the world compares to you.
Casey: Oh, yeah?
Cappie: Kinda hard to believe, right?
Casey: Look, it's late. We're both tired, let's just call it a night.
Cappie: A few hours of sleep isn't gonna change anything.
Casey: It's old habits!
Cappie: Old habits like having a great time together, knowing each other better than we know ourselves. What does that tell you?
Casey: Well, I guess it tells me we can't be friends!
Cappie: Fine. Then you're right, I guess I do need to move on. I'll see you around, Case.
Casey: I just wanna do what's right!
Cappie: We can't be friends. That's what you're saying and I'm agreeing with you!
Casey: Then why are we shouting?!
Cappie: You started the shouting!
Casey: I just want ...
Cappie: To not waste my time? I get it. Well, you're wasting my time now.
Casey: Wait ... what are we saying?
Cappie: You said it all.

Casey: Want some gum? Why you are so pissed at me? It was an honest mistake!
Cappie: It's like there's this tractor beam that seems to pull me towards you no matter what I do, and I'm trying to shut it down.
I'm trying to make it go away and it's nearly impossible.
Casey: Do you think I planned all of this?
Cappie: I don't know, maybe you did.
Casey: You think I bribed the contest so the ZBZs and the KTs work together, sabotage the truck, and told Rusty not to answer his phone,
got the girls drunk at the tailgate so they couldn't come get me and then forgot to call the autoclub all so you could rescue me.
Cappie: See? I don't wanna wonder anymore about what you're thinking and what you're doing and who you're doing it with.
You were right, Case, I need to move on but I don't know if I can unless you just stop.
Casey: Stop what? I'm sorry I called. I'm sorry I keep talking to you. I'll try to do better, what else can I do?
Cappie: I don't know! Just stop. Just stop making me so crazy!
Casey: Stop being so paranoid!
Cappie: Stop telling me what to do!
Casey: Stop wasting your life on stupid things!
Cappie: Stop making me want your approval!
Casey: Stop always being there when I need you!
Man: Stop yelling at each other and tell me what's wrong with the damn truck.
Cappie: It's the carburetor.
Casey: It's the alternator.

Casey: Hey, I'm sorry, Ash. I'm sorry I let you down.
Ashleigh: It's alright ... you're human.
Casey: And I'm in love with Cappie.
Ashleigh: That has been your problem all along. You have been bouncing around in all of these different love triangles, failing to see the obvious.
Casey: ... which is?
Ashleigh: What is the common point in all these different love triangles? Cappie. Time to stop bouncing around, Felicity.
Casey: I have to go tell him!

Casey: You've been avoiding me.
[she kisses him and he pushes her away]
Cappie: What're you doing?
Casey: Just wait. Something happened ... I almost died today, because of that manhole.
[they both laugh]
Casey: I know, that's a funny word, but almost dying in that manhole made me realize that I could die at any time,
I could slip in the shower and ... I've been waiting all this time to feel the way with Max that I've always felt with you and ...
if it's the end of the world, I wanna be with you.
Cappie: Casey ... Max is a great guy.
Casey: I know. That's what makes this so hard, I don't wanna hurt him.
Cappie: Then don't. Don't ruin things with Max because of some ... fleeting thought.
Casey: This isn't some fleeting thought, this is what I really feel. I finally have some clarity.
Cappie: You think it's clarity but it's not. It's a post-traumatic stress reaction and it'll wear off ... and you'll regret coming to see me tonight.
Casey: No, I won't.
Cappie: You'll remember that I'm a childish, lazy, unreliable, unpredictable, unambitious frat guy who let you down before and that's why we didn't work.
Casey: You don't even wanna try?
Cappie: The world isn't gonna end tonight, okay?

Cappie: Listen ... You know...
Casey: I think the answer's pretty clear about us. You know, I felt so lame ... yesterday I actually thought you might change your mind
and come for me in some grand movie moment that only exists in the deranged mind of Nora Ephron. Like I said, lame. Anyway, guess I'll see you around.
Cappie: Around, it is.
Casey: Hey, Cap? Gotcha.

Casey: Hemingway? At Doblers?
Cappie: New Book Club selection. I'm behind. I keep finding myself preoccupied.
Casey: We ... we read that in my freshman lit class. Tragic love story, some would say.
Cappie: Yeah, they just couldn't seem to get the timing right.
Casey: And then he got his junk blown off in World War I. See ya.

Cappie: There's something I need to say. I've been thinking ... about ... stuff.
Casey: Really? Me, too. Like, should I get my hair colored? Would I look good as a brunette?
Cappie: I think you'd look gorgeous with any color.
Casey: Good to know. Thanks.
Cappie: So, anyway...
Casey: You ... You've been thinking.
Cappie: I was thinking, um ... I was just ... I'm sorry, I'm nervous. I really wish things worked out with us.
Casey: That was my wish, too.
Cappie: So your wish? Is that what you wished for on your wish ... pretzel?
Casey: [wanting to walk away] You know, I'm sorry, I've been drinking. Um, let's just talk tomorrow, okay?
Cappie: No, let's talk now.
Casey: [turning back to him] I poured my heart out to you at the End of the World Party and you didn't come after me. You should've come after me.
Cappie: I know. And I have no excuse. But I'm here now. And I'm telling you ...
Casey: Telling me what?
Cappie: [Cappie kisses her] I want to try us again. I want to be with you.
Casey: I want to be with you, too.

"I believe down the road it's going to get written that they'll end up together. I believe those characters are meant to be together, and all the little things that happen along the way are things they have to go through to find out that they do belong together. I think it's going to happen. I just don't know when."

"How would I like Cappie to evolve in the future seasons? I would love, eventually, to see Cappie and Casey. I want to see their storyline get back together because I know that's what a lot of people want to see and it's what I want to see. Not that the Cappie and Rebecca relationship isn't fun to do, but when we came into this, it was Cappie and Casey and they're going to get back together at some point and when is that going to be.
