Thank you for the new thread, sweetie!

It's nearly Christmas! Plus, it snowed here last night!

Eep, I want snow too! It snowed here the day before yesterday, but it was rain with snow and it was only for a couple of minutes. But it might be snowing on my birthday tomorrow!

We do too! My birthday was good.

It's crazy to get to school though, but I only fell once today!

Glad to hear it

We've got about 20 inches here, and more to come!

Urgh, some morons in my class have decided to throw a christmas party, and they want to go out to dinner in some fancy restaurant, then go bowling and then go to the cinema AND buy each other presents. Uh, what? I am so not spending hundreds of euros of my tiny allowance that I should be spending on presents for my family!

I don't know exactly, but an expensive restaurant plus a present plus various other things... I don't have that much to spend.
First of all, my parents give me my monthly allowance very late in the month & they kept my November allowance because my watch was that expensive and they didn't want to give me something worth that much for my birthday.
Second, I have to pay €30 for skating every month, which people tend to forget. Basically all I've got now until the end of December is my birthday money, which means I have to buy my family's presents from that and hopefully have some left to treat myself with, after all, it's my own birthday money and I can find better stuff to spend it on than throwing it out the window like that.

Exactly. I understand doing one, maybe two things, with your friends, but that much is just insane

It is. So I'm still waiting, maybe I'm just not going. I mean, I have a life besides school too.

Just decide which part you'd most like to spend your money on

None of them. I need my money for other stuff. I don't think it's abnormal to want to spend my birthday money on stuff I actually want to buy, is it?
