You don't know what it means? It means, when something exciting is happening to you and someone comes in and does or says something to over shadow you; i.e. you announce your engagement and everyone's so excited for you, then 5 minutes later, your sister announces she's pregnant and everyone focuses their attention on her.

Oh. No, I didn't know that, but I do now.

And the gifs were from episode 12. Savannah's mad at Marti because she found out she and Dan hooked up while she was avoiding Dan (in episode 9). And then Savannah said Alice would fly at sectionals, and not Marti.
