I have been thinking long and hard about this, and I think that it may be time to close this board. The post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. I'm sure we would all prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let me know what you think. I'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

I've enjoyed being a mod here at Ash's board so much. And that's the biggest reason why I had such a hard time deciding whether to possibly close it or not. But as mentioned above, I'd rather us all agree to close the board on our own terms instead of being forced to do so. This board will always hold a special place in my heart no matter whether it's open or closed. It's been a great board to be a part of and still is!!

Unfortunately, I kinda had a feeling that this was going to be coming soon. One of the reasons I stepped down as mod was because of how slow the board was...

I really will try my hardest to post as much as I can, but I have been busy (& posting on Chris’ new board ).

I’m sorry you have had to come to this decision, but maybe there will be a turn around in the next couple of weeks! We’ll see! I do wish you lots of luck with this board, Ashley, and we’ll just have to see what happens.

I replied back to Jerry earlier and the board is closing on Sunday. It wasn't an easy decision, but lack of other posters and me getting used to the changes in my life/meds, etc... I truly think this is best because this way it's closed by choice and not by force.

It definitely was a very difficult decision that I wish I didn't have to make. But it feels like the board is just barely getting by these days. I want to go out on a high note as opposed to a low one, you know?

I understand. I do appreciate you trying your best to keep it going after I left, but sometimes, it’s just for the best. I still miss my Lying Game board so much, but I knew at the time closing it was the right decision.

Ashley had 10 GREAT YEARS here on & I’m glad we were at least able to celebrate that before the board had to close.

We’ll still be able to discuss her on the Celebrities board & various couples threads.
