Joyce & I decided that we would top a random thread for a week or two. Since we had the celebration threads, we just topped those, but now that that is over with, we're back to topping "regular" threads and I picked this thread to top since it hadn't been very active.

Alright so I've just watched the epi again (am watching) and I don't get the "and scene within a scene"

I find it somehow funny, but I'm not sure I get it ! So is she an actress ? when she said that she was lying and she wasn't really an actress ?!!

haha OK, let me see if I can explain the "and scene within a scene" scene.

"And scene" is what actors/actresses say when they're doing a scene (in a monologue, for example) to end the scene, so the audience knows it's over and the actor can get out of character. Ashley's character, Mary-Louise, is an actress, so when she was telling Jimmy she wasn't an actress, she was acting like she wasn't acting. Therefore, she "played" a "scene within a scene", so she said, "And scene within a scene". Get it?
